Thirty six teams will compete at Under 7s under the Primary Rugby League format in the Yorkshire Junior League in 2015. Primary rugby league is focused on fun and enjoyment. Mick Amos , the RFL's Primary Rugby League Manager said: "The flexible nature of the new format is inclusive to all children because there are no substitutes. All children play all the time, which is how sport and Rugby League should be at this age range. This means that all children will play and experience the exciting parts of the game like sdcoring tries, running with the ball and evading defenders. Supporting children in this way will go a long way to sustaining participation and keeping more children in the game, which must be the goal for all people involved with Primary Rugby League".
